Farm-gate Cheese Toastie

Now, unlock the magic in your own kitchen as you recreate our signature toastie, elevated to new heights with our coveted secret ingredient - the exquisite Early Harvest olive oil.

Ingredients

2 thick cut slices white bread
1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 thin slices gruyère cheese
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella
Drizzle Rich Glen Early Harvest olive oil for frying
Rich Glen Garlic Salt
Rich Glen Nanas Relish to serve

Directions

Drizzle both slices of bread with the olive oil then divide the cheeses between them
Heat pan with another splash of EVOO, add both side of bread, cheese side up and cover with lid to help the cheese to start to melt.
After 2 minutes, remove the lid and continue frying until the underside of the bread is golden and the cheese looks melty. Carefully, sandwich the 2 slices together so all the cheeses are in the middle, then gently press down with a spatula and continue cooking until the cheese has melted and the bread is deep golden – turn again adding more olive oil if needed.
Cut the toastie in half and sprinkle with the Garlic Salt, serve straightaway with our Nana's Relish.
