From Humble Beginning's
RICH GLEN
OUR STORY

Our Beginning
In 1982, Franc and Marija Vodusek purchased “Rich Fields,” followed by the neighbouring “Glen Loth” in 1984, creating what is now known as Rich Glen. In 1997, Franc and his son Daimien planted 36,000 olive trees, and with the opening of their advanced processing plant in 2001, began producing premium Australian first cold-pressed EVOO. Daimien and his wife, Ros, later settled on the farm, combining their skills and passion for food, family, and community. During COVID-19, they opened a small store to support locals, which quickly grew into the Rich Glen Provedore—a showcase of artisan goods, from breads and sauces to chocolates and cheeses, celebrating regional producers.
As the business expanded, Ros and Daimien launched Rich Glen Skin & Beauty, offering natural skincare, remedies, and eco-friendly products, and opened new stores in Echuca (2023) and Bright (2024). Their children have since taken active roles: Hannah leads skincare, Jack oversees growth as CEO, Ava created her own teen skincare line, and Max manages confectionery with plans to launch a cologne. With retail stores in Yarrawonga, Echuca, and Bright open seven days a week, Rich Glen continues to thrive as a family business, staying true to its roots while sharing local produce and natural products with more communities.

Rich Glen was Established in 1998, when the Vodusek Family planted 36,000 olive trees along the Murray River in Yarrawonga, Victoria.
The transition to olive trees on the family property was born out of the need for a more sustainable venture on what was a previous cattle & sheep property.
In 2004, a state-of-the-art processing facility was built on the property, allowing the olives to be harvested at peak ripeness.
Rich Glen became a self-sufficient operation, controlling the entire process from tree to table.
In 2006, driven by Ros Vodusek's creative flair and culinary expertise, the family pivoted from producing bulk oil to creating a range of retail products.
