GROWN. MADE. CREATED. LOVED.
RICH GLEN
OUR STORY
Our Beginning
When Franc Vodusek first purchased Rich Fields in 1982, followed by the neighbouring Glen Loth in 1984, he couldn’t have known the legacy that was beginning to take shape along the banks of the mighty Murray River.
In 1997, Franc and his son Daimien planted more than 35,000 olive trees—not just a grove, but a vision for the future. The following years saw the sun rise again and again over the growing orchard, and in 2001, with the opening of an advanced on-site processing plant, Rich Glen began producing premium Australian first cold-pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Each harvest yielded thousands of litres of pure EVOO—but also something more. From that original grove grew over 100 product creations, spanning gourmet foods, botanical homewares, gifting hampers and luxury skincare. It became about making the best products from the best ingredients, alongside the best humans.
Daimien and his wife Ros later settled on the farm, blending their shared passions for food, family and community into the heart of the business. During COVID-19, they opened a small store to support locals—an idea that quickly flourished into the Rich Glen Provedore. Today, it stands as a celebration of regional artisans, offering everything from breads, sauces, chocolates and cheeses to locally made delights.
As Rich Glen continued to grow, Ros and Daimien launched Rich Glen Skin & Beauty, expanding into natural skincare, remedies and eco-conscious products. New stores followed in Echuca (2023) and Bright (2024), joining the original Yarrawonga location—each open seven days a week and welcoming visitors near and far.
Now, the next generation is shaping the future. Hannah leads skincare, Jack guides the business as CEO, Ava has created her own skincare line, and Max manages confectionery with plans to launch a signature cologne.
Today, Rich Glen stands as a sustainability-led, family-run business where success is measured not only in commercial milestones, but in continuity, care and community. Its greatest achievement is watching each new generation add their own touch of magic, as the sun continues to rise over those 35,000 olive trees, and history keeps unfolding.
Rich Glen was Established in 1998, when the Vodusek Family planted 36,000 olive trees along the Murray River in Yarrawonga, Victoria.
The transition to olive trees on the family property was born out of the need for a more sustainable venture on what was a previous cattle & sheep property.
In 2004, a state-of-the-art processing facility was built on the property, allowing the olives to be harvested at peak ripeness.
Rich Glen became a self-sufficient operation, controlling the entire process from tree to table.
In 2006, driven by Ros Vodusek's creative flair and culinary expertise, the family pivoted from producing bulk oil to creating a range of retail products.
